Located just off brick lane with funky edgy shops and fantastic street arts. Service is friendly, warm and attentive. Food is British Indian and delicious, BYO drinks - enjoyed their natural lassi.

Great to return after the recent refurbishment, the food is amazing. Best to avoid many of the Brick Lane eateries and head straight here. Cheap prices, but such flavoursome food.

You've got a lot of the same old Curry shops round Brick Lane, which are mostly ok. But this place is another level up in quality and I think this place should be your first choice if that is what's important to you.

An Airbnb recommendation, we skipped the touts on Brick Lane and turned down a side street to come here. Unlicensed, so BYOB, super friendly, this place is AMAZING. Try the lamb shank special on a Saturday evening and the sundried spinach. You CAN have chicken...More

Wander off Brick Lane, where you will find a plethora of generic 'Indian' restaurants and Cafés, and you'll find Meraz, a favourite eating place of the artists, Gilbert and George, and The Wave Pictures, the UKs best live band. Unlike most of their neighbours, Meraz...More

The Meraz philosophy has not changed since 1974, it remains one of respect for cooking tradition, from which is born a consistency and an aversion to fads that is greatly appreciated by all. A respect for the patron's palate and comfort, innovating and striving to bring the best in service, atmosphere and presentation, and a passion for introducing Handi Cooked Foods to an ever growing audience.Unusual for Brick Lane, Meraz encourages BYOB.
