On Argyle Street, just behind Regent Street, in the heart of London's West End this is the perfect pre-theatre haunt. The city's beautiful young things gather for drinks and they serve the best virgin Mojito ever - and I hear that the full strength version is just as good. Two restaurants, Kyoto is Japanese fusion with sushi, sashimi and wagu... More

Lovely lady at reception gave a fabulous romantic booth table - gorgeous decor as ever - have been before and loved it too much but found the waiting staff a little disinterested on this occasion, basic things missed off the order such as salmon sashimi whilst sea urchin, mackerel and fatty tuna were all unavailable - it was late on... My husband and I visited Aqua Kyoto for their brunch menu. We were greeted in the lobby and shown to the lift which takes you to the fifth floor. We were then greeted at reception where we were introduced, our coats were taken and we were shown to our table. There are several options available but we chose the bottomless... More

Decided to visit this restaurant as we have eaten at the group restaurant in Hong Kong and the menu looked good. On arrival we were told that we were 5 minutes early so would have to wait (stood up) until our table was arranged. Slightly odd start but they seated us within a few minutes so not a total disaster.... More

I went with some family members to try out the Japanese food. We ordered some sushi platters and cooked dishes. Everything was really tasty, especially the crab noodles, and we all really enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were all extremely good at making sure that the food and drinks would always come out on time. This... More

Groups of 'the guys from the office' sipping £15 cocktails in pinstripe suits, and badgering the hardworking staff, was the image that remains of the restaurant. While the food was interesting and of reasonably high quality, the whole experience seemed to be about trying to impress visually on a demanding clientele demographic, rather than caring about the food itself. Sashimi... More

We went for the set Brunch menu on Sunday afternoon. We had one Vegetarian and one person with selfish allergy but the restaurant were very accommodating. It was very quiet so not much atmosphere but the place was lovely and the food was excellent i would return, but maybe on a Friday/sat night when there was more going on.

Description
Set high above the bustle of Regent Street on the fifth floor of the famous former Dickins & Jones building, aqua london is one of the capital's most unique and exciting drinking and dining destinations with its two restaurants, cocktail bar and stunning roof terraces.

Aqua kyoto is a unique Japanese restaurant showcasing chef Paul Greening's innovative cuisine. An extensive menu of beautifully-presented sushi and sashimi is complemented by creative hot dishes combining the highest quality British produce with Paul's contemporary technique. A central sushi bar and open sumibiyaki charcoal grill combine with sleek black and red decor to create a sense of theatre in keeping with aqua kyoto's location in the heart of the West End.

Pass the Pamplona bull that seems to charge at you along the sultrily-lit corridor and find yourself in aqua nueva, offering Spanish dining at its finest. Here chef Alberto Hernandez presents a modern take on traditional northern Spanish cuisine, reinterpreting classic dishes in exciting new ways. Meanwhile at London's first dedicated Cava Bar guests can order from a menu of delicious tapas while enjoying a glass of cava from an extensive list.

At the heart of aqua london is aqua spirit and its charcoal-ringed bar representing Zen purity. Perennially popular as a destination for beginning, ending or spending an evening, at aqua spirit master mixologists serve up some of the finest cocktails in London. Aqua spirit boasts two hidden gems - outdoor terraces with stunning views over London's rooftops, perfect places to relax and refresh.

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
