The St. George is homey and friendly. We arrived at dinner time and were seated in the basement dining room. Service, by Erica, was excellent. We enjoyed glasses of the lager, followed by the fish and chips -- generous portion and beautifully prepared. I like...More

Bass was great. Cooked well and accompanied by deliciousness. Soup was lentil with something. The bread, however, was multi grain and really good.

Excellent Food. Reasonably priced for London. Full English breakfast one day. Sunday lunch the next. Never too busy, lots of seating. And the staff are very friendly and welcoming. You won't be disappointed.

We stayed at a nearby boutique hotel and they recommended this place. We ate there two times and both times the food and service was very good.

Nice staff, good food and a nice atmosphere. We had the fish and chips, which was good. The bartender recommended a good english beer for us.

I’ve not but I’d imagine it’d be ok, the pub is part of a big chain so it’ll be pretty much as you’d expect.

Didn't see dogs in there on my 2 visits, it gets very packed so not sure it's the best environment for a dog, but you would be better to ring them directly and ask.
