When I visit London it is always a pleasure to have one dinner at the Al Arez restaurant! Authentic food, prices are fair and the service is very good!

The place is small. Staff is welcoming. Food is good compared to most of the Arab restaurants there. The Falfeel and Mixed Shawarma is good. They serve sheehsa as well. Again the people serving Sheesha are very polite. Over all, a good place. Gets crowded in the weekend though. Bill is average, in the middle range as per most restaurants.... More

I stopped by to visit some friends and we decided to eat here. We ordered many things and it was all great. I had falafel, hummus and tabbouleh along with a shish taouk and it was better than average. Their shisha is good too, alot better than other cafes in the area. Would definitely visit again.

I came here with my Mrs after a long day of shopping. We were very hungry and thought we would try this place out. When we walked through the door the guy who is supposed to sit you down, ignored us and very rudely sat us down. I asked him if I could order as we were very hungry and... More

I expected much more. The food was okay but certainly not worth the price charged. I got the impression that due to its location on Edgware road they can get away with over priced food with mediocre service. There will always be tourists visiting and you're not relying on return visits. I asked for the bill and waited. I eventually... More

This place is situated amongst many similar restaurants with waiters luring people in with menus. It's a fairly large spacious clean restaurant however the toilets are hidden downstairs and could do with a clean. The food all arrived together and the fresh juices were quite tangy. The menu descriptions sounded amazing yet the food was average. The lamb was quite... More

I live stateside but visit London often for business. I eat here on every trip and often bring guests along. Without exception, everyone that I've introduced to Al Arez loves it. Let me share this simple example. Brought 2 friends to dinner on night 1 in London this week. They loved it so much that we've now returned 3 times... More

Love Lebanese food and love Al Arez. Try the lamb kwarma, lamb cutlets and lamb schwarma. Great food and a great value too! Will return.

Bland meats. Bland hummus. The lamb felt bland and tasteless. Wouldnt recommend to anyone. If you are a tourist, avoid eating on edgeware road, especially here.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
