Stayed at The Rafayel and decided to eat in the restaurant. Expected it to be a delightful treat for myself and my wide but it fell very short of expectations. Main course of Fish 'n Chips was hugely overcooked and tasted oily with very little...More

A surprisingly great restaurant on the river thames with the most beautiful sunsets. Food choice is mainly Asian but mixed in with some favourites like cod & chips and bangers & mash. Great host and lovely atmosphere. Cocktails were good too!

Enjoyed a lovely meal for my partner's birthday. We had an offer with our stay that included a 3 course meal at the Banyan. Lovely food and well presented too.

Good Evening to you. I have booked table for 2 at the Banyan on the Thames. I am taking my husband for his birthday. I read your review and quiet happy with it but few of them are negative. You only visited it recently just wondering do I need to be concern on anything?

Hi there. I can only report on my recent experience, which is what I did. Personally, I would never eat there again. I know that some people have left positive reviews and the place is still in business after all. However... More

Set inside London's most exclusive eco-friendly hotel, Rafael on the Left Bank, Banyan on the Thames is a chic restaurant overlooking the river and the London Helipad in Battersea. With so much action right outside its sound-proofed windows, this is a fantastic place to watch the world go by. And super-tanned sun-lovers adore the riverside roof terrace for summertime dining. The Hotel Rafayel is popular with an international, glamorous yet ecologically-sensitive set of travellers, and the Banyan on Thames is open to serve them and you - breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu is a melange of European, Asian and Mediterranean flavours, fusion cuisine at its finest. Favourite dishes here include the duck confit in a ginger and lime sweet and sour sauce; the mango and papaya salad with curry chicken; and the Barcelona traditional fish soup. Banyan on the Thames makes the most of the peace and tranquillity of its ideal riverside location.
