Nothing short of the best curry I have had outside India. I had the Southern India thali and it was absolutely outstanding. I am from the North and have had so many curries in my time that to say this is the best I've had in the Uk is high praise indeed. Thanks

A very good southern Indian restaurant, simple decor, friendly service. Would recommend. The lemon rice was very nice and the chickpeas had a lovely spice and flavours. Only a minor critic was that the service was a tad over keen to clear the plate

Oh dear. I've been here a few times but it was a semi-disaster last night. Problems: - 125 ml wine served to the brim in a tiny glass, instead of a decent sized glass. And neither rose nor house white were very cold. Or very good. - Saag peynir. Spinach horribly salty. Small portion. Rubbery peynir. Not very warm. -... More

I am truly In love with Sagar little chain. I am normally a visitor of the Hammersmith restaurant, but this time, visited Tottenham site and I can only say that it was a delight! Dahi potato puri was nice, crispy with a little kick to it. Onion rava masala was delicious! It might be just my sentiment to the place...... More

We were meeting friends that we hadn't seen for some years and they suggested this vegetarian south Indian restaurant, licensed, near to Tottenham Court Road tube station. We were glad they did! Excellent selection of great food in comfortable surroundings and with attentive, knowledgable staff. We went on a Monday evening and it was quite busy but even so we... More

Trouble is you don't really get a proper dosa in central london so to save yourself the bother of going out to East Ham or towards Wembley you will have to settle for only the few places available in town Sagar is one of them and it's ok, you are looking at about £8 for a dosa which costs £3... Great service from this South Indian vegetarian restaurant. The food is very tasty and service is fast and fairly friendly. Prices are fairly reasonable too.
