This is a cosy restaurant, and the food is quite good. Unfortunately, the service was shockingly unfriendly. The server seemed pained to have to take our order, shook a bottle of beer to see if it was empty and needed to be cleared, and then...More

We had our staff Christmas party here. Three courses £45. Service good but the food lacking authenticity and flavour. It was a traditional Christmas menu - the turkey wasn’t off the bone, very few vegetables - portion very small. Christmas pudding again not home made....More

Went here for a roast dinner on Sunday. We made a booking for 12, and turned up at 20 to 12, not realising it didn't open until 12. The staff had finished setting up and were sitting around doing nothing. They could clearly see we...More

Went with a friend to this place and it was good but not great. The food was above average but not great. The waitress was sweet but absent. And finally the wine (red) was so hot when we got it it had to be places...More

Being an Anglophile Parisian I keep banging on to my friends about how good food is now in London. This it is with great hope and expectation that I traipse from my AirBnB digs south of the river to the Princess of Shoreditch looking for...More

Pork tasted 2 days old and I choked on a hair. 5 minutes later my wife nearly passes out when there is a mouse nibbling her shoe. Don't plan on ever going back.

Really nice pub, great food and a nice vibe. Service was good. Not sure if it was the girls first week or just nervous, but she made little mistakes in the order (not when it arrived but from when she repeated the order). However we...More

Shoreditch is very trendy at present and The Princess has tried hard to adapt, turning an old, run down pub into a clean and pleasant bar and restaurant. The beer is good and the food is now traditional pub food. I had a burger which...More

Travelled from quite a way away to eat here as the reviews were really good. Had to wait 50 minutes for a table which is fair enough as it's Sunday in shoreditch and we didn't book. The service from the waiting staff was pretty poor...More

The western front of the edgy East End, Shoreditch is
a perennially trendy haven for anything “street” – be

connected transportation links dotting its perimeter,
along with an ever increasing variety of shops,
hotels, bars, and restaurants, it's easy to explore
this trend-conscious and youth-oriented neighbourhood.
