This restaurant succeeds because the menu is not over-fussy and the flavours carefully contrasted. Lunch time is dominated by limited choices at fixed prices and all the dishes we saw looked very well presented. Service was friendly and professional (if slightly out of kilter with...More

Warm welcome, wonderful afternoon and amazing vegan tasting menu. I pride myself in vegan cooking but this was an experience I cant wait to make a return visit for. The food, wine and presentation was faultless. The staff were professional but not pretentious at all....More

We had a pleasant lunch of food prepared with skill and at reasonable price given this is central London and a lot of effort went into the work in the kitchen. The service was also good - attentive without being intrusive. Reasonable wines too. But...More

We were absolutely delighted with our visit to Gauthier Soho -- wonderfully elegant but also warm atmosphere, delectable food and wine, and super team. We can't wait to visit again. Sublime.

This question was NOT asked by me. God knows how it appeared. Either an internet usurper or one of my grandchildren.....whoever it was, it is disgusting and not in the least bit amusing. I can't see how to delete it.

Having earned a star within a year of opening Gauthier Soho, Alexis Gauthier is described by Zagat guide as "...one of the Best New French food destinations in London...". With an emphasis on vegetables in all dishes, Alexis provides a seasonal tasting menu with the best possible ingredients (British where possible) for omnivores and a vegetable option, as well as an A la Carte and lunch/pre-theatre option. All served in a chic Soho Townhouse where the staff really make you feel special. There are also five private dining rooms for parties of all sizes.
