Seems bustling, local and not a chain. So a lot going for it. But Sunday breakfast was poor service. Had to chase for our order. Rubbish sliced bread, very, very salty bacon that had been kept warm for a while. Really great freshly squeezed orange juice.

This is a ok cafe serving average food, however the staff are very unfriendly and unwelcoming. They have no sense of customer service, my husband says he is scarred by the rudeness of the staff and has never encountered anything like it before.

First time back here after a long absence. Ordered scrambled egg on toast & bacon. The egg was a mass of pieces of hardened egg - like a chopped up omelette - more massacred than scrambled. The toast was on the side so I could at least eat that. The bacon was plain weird & I have no idea how... More

Had a full English here and it was really good quality stuff. I have coffee with breaksfasts and the standard was quite high. A free croissant came with it so I was well stuffed. The staff were very friendly and efficient and prices reasonable. A good local crowd gets in so that's a good sign.

Found this place just down from my hotel. Surrounded by normal fare of Cafe Nero, Nando's, Starbucks etc. Just wanted somewhere no fuss where I could grab some Dinner. The staff were very nice and accommodating to this tired, grumpy, old man. Had a good bowl of roasted veg and a large coffee for about £7 outstanding value in Kensington.

Nice staff, small place but true honest full english breakfast. If you are having a Latte or Americano, you will have also a croissant for free. The food is very good and places to sit, although limited, become vacant quickly enough in a early morning.

After all the other traveller reviews, we went for breakfast one morning. Yes, they serve an English breakfast at a fraction of the price you'd have to pay in a hotel, but it was nothing out of the ordinary. If you're looking for breakfast in the vicinity, by all means visit this cafe, but it doesn't have a wow factor... More

Visited for breakfast after reading review la on Tripadvisor. We were lucky to find a table around 11am on a Sunday but the turnaround is quick so a wait wouldn't have been long. Very nice coffee and full English was great value for money in the area. Newspapers available which is a nice to touch. Oh and let's not forget... More

I visited Cafe Forum to on Saturday morning to eat breakfast. No crowd, but only few tables were free. Staff was very nice and friendly. Food? Delicious. Ate full English, paid about 7 pounds including orange juice. Only con is quality of tomatoes, but its typical in London for people who know taste of South Europe. I highly recommend!

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
