The pastries look totally divine, but I just needed a quick snack. I picked up the Chicken Caesar Salad on a baguette and it was delicious. Very nice servers and lovely atmosphere. I would love to go back and try more. Very convenient to my hotel and to the Goodge Street tube stations.

I came here saturday afternoon not so busy the service was fine thry have friendly staff. I had the cream tea the scones are very filing it was perhaps too well done and should of been softer. There are two scones cut in half so four pieces. You get four jams strawberry raspberry blackcurrent and marmalade. The strawberry raspberry jams... More

If you want to avoid your hotel's breakfast it's a right place. Good coffee, good croissant, what else do you need?

Everything you need to know is in the title of my review. Quick table service for lunch is a big plus, but the food was just ok. Nothing to write home about, nothing to really complain about. We had poached eggs on toast, lasagne, and chicken caesar salad. The atmosphere was quite nice and I could imagine that with a... More

I used to like the original PV in Soho, but since the brand was monetised by Luke Johnson into a chain of cafes things are maybe not so good. The food, cakes & coffee are average and perhaps a little expensive, but at this branch at least the staff are always polite and attentive. If only the nosh was better!

I came to this place with friends and it was a nice experience. The cakes were ok and the sandwiches were really nice. The best part is that they are really flexible so you can change the sandwich to fit exactly what you want. In the same way the waiters are really nice so it makes a good experience.

The restaurant is cosy and this review is purely based on one single piece of pastry, but this piece should be representative of the bakery in my opinion. The croissant was somewhat stale and had an industrial/supermarket taste to it. In my humble opinion any place that calls itself a "patisserie" should have good croissants. I have had an order... A great French café for meeting up with your friends as they got a good selection of pastries and plenty of room for a crowd. I had a strawberry mille-feuille and a macchiato that were both very good. The strawberries were delicious and really lifted the mille-feuille above what I'm used to, clearly selected for their flavour rather than looks,... More

We ordered cream tea for 2 and one tea and scones and one coffee and scone. The cream team consisted of two cups of tea, some very small finger sandwiches and a few very small cakes for £25. The scones delivered with the coffee and the separate order for tea, were TOASTED! They were very stale and the manager took... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
