The food at Hix was incredible, the service impeccable, and the artwork exquisite. Plus, the pricing is so reasonable; we ended up paying the same as many of the other boring chains in the area charge. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough, a real Soho...More

Waiters unfriendly, staring rudely, one tried to take a plate with half the food still obviously on it, another had no idea who ordered what, insincere courtesy and no welcoming vibe whatsoever. Crab was over flavoured, dry and crusty. Wouldn't come here again, pretentious and...More

Lots of people seem to rave about this place. I thought it was ok but certainly not as good as people suggested. Service was slow and aloof and it was sooooo noisy

We went to HIX as it was the only place available for dinner at short notice in Soho. I don't know if this for a reason. Likely the bottles of wine lifted the final price but spending 60£ for a below average meal and slow...More

You know how it is when you return to a previously favorite restaurant, expectations are naturally high.....After an 18 month gap I was disappointed. Difficult to put my finger on why exactly, my fried sprats were good, my grouse was very, very undercooked and tough....More

With an unrivalled dedication to seasonality HIX Soho brings fish and shellfish to the forefront, offering a premium seafood experience serving carefully sourced produce from the British Isles. The leather banquettes lend themselves to intimate corner tables for two or larger dining parties of up to 12, a rare find in this part of London. The oak paneled private dining room is the perfect setting for discreet meals and meetings for up to 10. Open all day every day, HIX Soho is the perfect spot for pre-theatre dining. A set menu is also available until 6.30pm every weekday for only £19.50 for 2 courses. Join us for Bottomless Brunch on a Saturday or the best British roast every Sunday. Mark's bar does not take reservations for drinks as it operates on first in first served basis.
