£9.75 for Brok and roll, extra sauerkraut, chips and drink. Good, hot, fast, filling enough that I couldn't eat it. Das ist shöne!

Fast food German style. Not very expensive, but fast and easy. Huge piece of schnitzel was tasty. Brats are what you would expect. Also serve sides like potato salad. Friendly, helpful staff. Abt £8 per person. Good for takeaway.

I know when in London you would think I would be sampling the English fare. Well I took a little side trip to Germany on Villiers Street. Great friendly atmosphere and the best brats I have had outside of Germany. We ended up eating here several times sampling many of the menu items and would have been there more if... More

We have went there over 5 times in the last months. It is amazing. The tastes are excellent. The only negative point during this period is that they stop offering bratmiester which in my view was their best dish.

Great food, however staffs friends taking up seats in a limited eating space, over usage of mobile phones, whilst people looking to park and eat weren't able to!!!

Herman ze German is a great place for a quick bite. My Bockwurst with Mustard was great and the crispy Onions an interesting and welcome addition. I shall return.

Having visited Germany recently, I learned how they loved their sausages. But we are talking big tasty sausages and better than what we normally have in the UK. Herman ze German is comparable with what you can get in Berlin. While I haven't yet tried them all, the Currywurst is good.

Popped in late in the evening and was impressed with the quality of the food. Great choice as an alternative to some of the big fast food chains nearby.

This is the best curry I have eaten since I lived in Mannheim Germany!!! Very tiny place and the locals eat here, so lunchtime is busy. Enjoy!

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighbourhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
