I've just had a lovely lunch here even thought the ribeye was nearly impossible to cut in places. Very disappointing but it was working lunch and so I didn't want to complain. I just left half of it. That said, what I did/could eat was lovely! Very nice staff, great atmosphere and generally very pleasant place. Don't make the mistake... More

Just been for a fantastic team Xmas lunch at Barbecoa. After a great lunch last year, couldn't think of anywhere to go back too, so went back. Glad that we did, the food was fantastic, the service was good, and the view in the sunshine was lovely.

Location is good although you do miss out if you are not seated round the side of the restaurant. We were near the door in what appeared to be an extra section of the restaurant cut off from the main bar/dining area and therefore missed out on some of the atmosphere and the view of St Paul's. Service was good... More

Filled with business executives and CEOs it's not really the place for a solo traveler to try and grab a quick lunch. Pricy, but delicious.

I had a business lunch at Barbecoa and was really impressed with the friendly staff, delicious food and great view of St Paul's. There were enough people there even on a Monday to give it a good atmosphere. I'll definitely be back.

We have been there for a birthday dinner as a group of 10 friends. The service was very nice! I can say that Barbecoa is the best Jamie Oliver restaurant I have been so far. The view of St Paul was mesmerizing! The food was great! I had the steak and spinach as a side dish both were well cooked... More

We came to celebrate. The staff was wonderfull and very nice but we expected the best food from one of thebests chefs so calked. The fillet we ordered (rer med) came med. Well ... we asked for a new dish. They charged us for 3 portions instead of 2.. and also for extra side dishes that we didn't order. The... More

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
