Our experience of afternoon tea at Harrods was very postive. Our waitress and all the staff were attentive and helpful. The sandwiches, scones and pastries looked very pretty and you can have as many refills as you wish. Our non alcoholic cocktails were so refreshing and the triffle was gorgeous. I loved the rose petal jam as well. We choose... More

Harrods you disappoint us. Service was extremely slow to many tables to wait on not enough staff. Sandwiches were lovely and plenty. Pastries were a little bland. Scones were cold. Had to ask for our tea. What a shame Harrods

At £42 per person an exceptional occasion would be expected. A tea on offer was not available, tea arrived and no milk offered. Food arrived, two finger sandwiches on dried out bread. No condiments (salt and pepper) at the table. The 5 mini-cakes offered: three were bland and tasteless, scones were cold and of very average quality. No butter offered.... More

I pre booked an afternoon teat for my Mums 80th birthday in December. I also pre ordered a small birthday cake to be served and had confirmation via email two weeks before hand. This was a surprise or my Mum. First off the tea arrived and poured straight away without giving it time to infuse so was very very weak.The... More

The Georgian is setup like a restaurant, with individual tables and booths. This is not a 'hotel' style tea where you sit on sofas while you take tea, but is still nice. The room is lovely, although large and can get a bit noisy. There is a piano player which adds to the ambiance. I did see some families with... More

We had afternoon tea here, it was the nicest afternoon tea we have ever had. The food was beautiful but the staff were absolutely amazing. I'm a vegetarian and the staff were so accommodating. They were so polite, friendly, helpful and professional. Had a wonderful time. Would definitely recommend it.

We went to The Georgian Restaurant- Harrods on 3Apr. As we had made the reservation at 18:30, the reception send an email to me and reminded that the last order is 19:15. The reason was they afraid we did not have enough time to enjoy our afternoon tea. We arrived the restaurant at 18:00. The staff whom served our table... More

Brought my mom for the experience and ambiance. She enjoyed it and relaxed. The wait staff is always superb and so gallant. Please keep up an enjoyable time to visit and dine - no matter how simply I myself ordered. I had a yummy risotto. Although the lady who sat us was a bit melancholic and I was surprised. Lucky... There is no doubt that history and elegance abound at The Georgian and they do booming business for High Tea. However, for 42L per person, one would expect much better quality sandwiches - we left hungry!

Knightsbridge
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
