Enjoying our drinks on this not very busy Sunday evening. The place is huge , thus looks not very busy. Staff are ok. Toilets are FLITHY. Immediate management attention is badly needed. This is not what Taylor Walker pubs are meant to be !!!

Been here a couple of times now, keep returning so that's always a good sign. 3 of us had a meal here last night, sausage and mash, Lasagne and Fish and chips. We had about a 45 minute wait for the food but that wasn't a problem to us, we were told there would be a wait when we ordered.... More

The only proper boozer left on Chiswick High Road. This is because all the others have gone really really poncey (George 4th Im looking at you!!). The value is ok for Chiswick. Still has all the football when most pubs have ditched it to try and go more upmarket. Real ales always good and offer CAMRA discount of 10%. Will... More

Spacious places and staff pretty friendly. good choice of drinks and food. only issue we always have is that they never polish their glasses so if you buy a glass of wine don't be surprised,

Thank Tommy D
Management response:

Hi Tommy, Thanks for the feedback, we always appreciate hearing from our guests. We've taken your advice on board and started training team members to polish all wine glasses after they have been washed. We hope to see you soon for a glass of wine, or maybe two. More

I go here about once a week during the afternoon for a couple of pints and I settle down with the Radio Times or the Guardian Crossword. It has lots of different ciders, which is my tipple, so I do try different ones every time I go. Staff are friendly. Usually pretty quiet in the day, which suits me. Tendency... More

We visited here on a Tuesday evening. Good selecrion of beers and ciders, lots of seating. Self seat, order food and drink at the bar, pay directly and they bring the food out. Very organized. Fish and chips were excellent. One large piece of cod with nicely cooked peas. Meat pies are a must try. Flaky crust and good flavor.... More

We went there for burgers and steak pie after a long day of sight seeing. The food come quickly and was really good. They have a good selection of beers and ales as well as cider.

We went in for fish and chips and the fish was completely tasteless. The company offered us another meal at a later date and when we had it, it was just as bad as the previous. In fact the lamb was some sort of reformed lamb steak and nothing like real roast lamb

Thank LoHawk
Management response:

Sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the food when you came in. We have just launched a new and improved menu that we hope you will come in and give a second chance sometime soon. More
