Went to the Dumpling's Legend today with my 5 years old and my cousin for some dumplings. Restaurant manager placed us at a table and gave a fork and spoon to my son. Waitress was very nice and helpful choosing the right food and the right amount. We had 12 dumplings and half a crispy duck with pancakes between 3... More

Yeah great dumplings, they had soup in them! Staff were pretty unfriendly, but them dumplings made up for it. We also had the green beans with the minced pork in. They were good also.

The restaurant is known for bad services, and our experience confirmed it. We were constantly asked by different staff whether we have finished eating so they can take the plates away while we were eating. Food was not bad but overall experience very poor. Do not recommend.

I came to this restaurant because a friend recommended it. The dumplings were okay but the rice and noodle dishes we had were not good at all. But the service beneath contempt! The staff was not able to answer any questions we had and was really impolite. After we finished our meal (we still have not emptied our drinks) they... More

The main draw here are the 'xiaolongbao' or soup dumplings. All the other dim sum was tasty as well, at a reasonable price and arrived quickly. It's become almost a cliche to comment on the service in Chinese restaurants now, but if people can't look past the fact that Chinese waiting staff just don't see the job in the same... More

Here for a quick dim sum. I have been here before with slow service but this visit trumped the last! So we ordered 6 items we received 3 items and then the last 3 seem to have got lost in China town as we had a 40 minute wait and we're asked 5 times if we were finished yet.. Erm... More

Went there Saturday evening. Place was busy but not crowded. Was seated very quickly and placed an order of dumplings and sweet and sour chicken with plain rice. Everything came out on time and was pipping hot. I over ordered and only managed to finish three quarters of what I ordered. Overall good service and food.

There is a vast range of dim sum here, although really it assumes pretty extensive prior knowledge//Chinese to actually understand what each one is. The xiao long bao are nothing on those you can get for £1 in China, and were a little under cooked --- but for London, they hit the spot. Appreciate the tea being reasonably priced. Contrary... Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
