I first went on 6th June with two visitors who had come up on a two hour train journey to see me. I had the full works High Tea. The finger sandwiches were OK, the scones barely passable, the slice of lemon cake tasty, but...More

We had the afternoon tea here, and it was really nice. The food was excellent and the service was very attentive. The only negative would be the cleanliness. Great price for what you get.

We looked for a tea house with a full afternoon tea and formal tea service. Soho's Secret Tea Room was perfect and I wish we had time to go twice. The scones and sandwiches were extraordinarily tasty and the ambiance was divine!

The afternoon tea lacked in selection and the scons were stale with absolutely no taste. The place and pub had a disgusting smell. Overall a disappointing experience.

Upstairs in a very shabby pub, with stuffing coming out of the chairs !! Unfriendly staff, both in the pub and upstairs !! The food was average on the whole and only a tiny amount of jam and cream for the scones. Liked the idea...More

Dear Jesvar2 Thank you for your review. Sorry you don't like my pub but it has a very specific style and huge historic relevance. For many visiting the tearoom they love the complete contrast. In fact it was voted the 4th coolest pub in Britain...More

What a wonderful find. You have to enter The Coach & Horses Pub and then take the stairs behind the bar. It's like a Victorian Tea Room with quaint ornaments and mirrors. There is an excellent choice of tea and also finger sandwiches, scones and...More

For a place that required a bit of know-how to get to, it was worth the treasure hunt to find the gem! For reasonably priced Afternoon Tea and delicious food, I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for something interesting.More

Hi Lexi. I am so glad you found us!! Having a secret venue and no signs as to where it is... such a dilemma. But I agree... the search is part of the fun. If ever you get to New York check out Majorie Elliot...More

I absolutely loved this spot. It is so adorable and affordable. You can make reservations but it seemed like a few people just walked in. It is located above the pub, just ask behind the bar and they will call upstairs for you. We had...More

Hi, I would love to stop by for afternoon tea but, to be honest, a lot of the reviews about rude staff and poor service have left me reluctant to risk a visit. Can you put my mind at rest, please? Thank you.
