My boyfriend and I visited on a Friday after work. Honestly some of the best service we've ever received, amazing food, lovely wine. I don't know what more I can say - I can't wait to come back! Such a lovely, unexpected and surprising experience.

A lovely informal atmosphere and very friendly staff who certainly knew their cheeses, charcuterie and wines. Shared the raclettes with the Swiss and French cheese followed by delicious fondu. Nice house red wine but the desert red wine with the chocolate fondu was the star. Served just a bit too cold but didn't spoil the flavour. Spent a relaxed evening... More

I had dinner with a friend here and we had a great raclette - authentic and tasted wonderful. Everything was just amazing. The service was great and the waiters very helpful at recommending dishes / wine etc. For vegetarians, there are plenty of options… cheese, cheese and more cheese. Would have been more enjoyable if there were some veggies to... More

My daughter took me for dinner here as a birthday treat because I had always fancied raclette but never had it. What a treat! It's become a place I recommend to friends. It really felt like we had spent the evening in France. Lovely French waiters. We had a combination of cheese fondue, raclette, charcuterie and a carafe of rose.... More

Fantastic cheese shop that also doubles as a restaurant, you can sit in and have fondue, chacuterie, cheese boards, wine etc but there are also take-out options. My sister and I have the tartiflette with Mont D'or which was so, so good. We also shared a raclette baguette with truffle honey - WOW. It's in Spitalfields market so is heaving... More

Me and a couple of friends visited the small authentic restaurant on Saturday 4th March. We wasn't sure what to expect, but we was pleasantly surprised. As soon as we asked for a table you could tell it was going to be a great meal. The service was great and the staff were so friendly and was great when asking... More

It's a cheese shop that transforms into a tiny restaurant in the evening. You can't book in advance, but you can turn up and they'll phone you once a table becomes available, so we went to have a drink in a terrible nearby pub whilst we waited. The French staff were very friendly and helped us to decide on a... More

GPS got confused and we walked in circles. Came in through the cheese shop but sat on stools in Spitalfield Market to see the crowds. Agree with all the comments about the delicious fondue set menu including a carafe of wine. Had not had fondue in years and it tasted great! Lots of fun. Had to buy some of their... More

Staying in Spitalfields

Neighbourhood Profile
Spitalfields
For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the next big global trend, the hipster zone of Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting some of London's most popular bars and clubs.

Wedged between the business-minded City of London, expressly trendy Shoreditch, and zestful Whitechapel, the lines between traditional and contemporary beautifully blur in this historic East End nexus.
