We - my wife and I with two good friends - spent yesterday evening at Medlar for my birthday and had a wonderful evening. Lovely table, excellent attentive service at exactly the right level; superb food throughout. Excellent in all respects ... will definitely return.

Late for reservation lunch booking but no problem (it is a long way from tube station, especially when walking the wrong way!). Attentive staff, wonderful food and a sheer delight. Made my two day stay in London just perfect. Thank you.

This is a simple review to write as Medlar provides good quality food, well cooked, pleasantly and efficiently served in a family friendly environment. I never attempt to describe dishes in detail as they will change and I am no cook. We felt that the...More

I took my french girlfriend there and she was not impressed. The food presentation was great, but it was a lack of flavour in our dishes. Really expensive for what you get, hard to believe that this is a Michelin star.

The restaurant is nicely laid out and is suitable for private conversations. The food is very much terroir and some people may have a problem with the choice. Best to check the menu before you arrive. The food was very good. An excellent wine list...More

I took my dogs there (terrier and spaniel). Rang first to make sure. I don't think they are keen on large dogs, but ok with small ones
