The host/manager immediately was rude and unaccommodating. An almost empty resturant and wanted us to sit next to another couple, saying all the other vacant tables could not be seated Astley were for x6 people...it was 3pm on a Saturday in a business district and empty....no parties of 6 were coming..... After my husband pushed we were finally "allowed" to not... More

I love the food here but I will now refuse to go until the owners declare that they pay what they describe as 'Table Service' on the bill (12.5%) to the staff !! My understanding is that they do not. They even say on the bill "Suggested Gratuity of 12.5% has been added to your bill". This should be described... More

We were the one of first ppl to came in but waited 20mins for order to be taken. Another 20mins to wait for the food. Staff were OK, apart from 1waiter who was not helpful and ignored us repeatedly. Food was plain for Korean. My spicy noodle didn't taste much. Never go back there again.

Not my first time eating Korean food but our first time here. We didn't book on a Saturday night but soon got a table. The place is large and modern . It's loud and bustling. The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. We got a good handle on the menu but our waiter explained it well enough. Draught beer was reasonably... More

Some decades ago I used to live for 3 years in Korea. The Bulgogi, Kimchee, Japchae, BimBim Bap etc. are since then rare specialities I treat myself to whenver I feel like. But so far, I have never found any restaurant in Europe that served the Bulgogi in a way I liked so much from my times in this beautiful... More

Fist time here and the friendly waiter, Jeremy?, explained some of the items we were unsure about. Drinks came swiftly and when we were ready to order the waiter was at our side ready to again answer queries. Rather stupidly we went for the bring everything as it comes option. Should of had the starters and then a rest before... More

Great food in good atmosphere - drinks slightly overpriced but quality of the food more than made up for it

It's a great airy room with ceiling height glass windows letting lots of light in. I visited twice recently and the food is fine if not exceptional, the bill is easy on the wallet and the service is friendly and pretty efficient. Don't order eel bibimbap though - the amount of eel is really really miserly! Go for the classic... More

I visited last Thursday with my boyfriend at lunch time. Booked a table before hand, however, still have to wait 10 minutes to be seated. The service was very slow and the waiters not helpful or polite. The food was very oily and inedible. Would not recommend and wont be returning!

Authentic korean food in the heart of london. Set in sumptious interiors, Kimchee provides a beautiful atmosphere in which to enjoy elegantly presented Korean cuisine. Set in mid-town (on High Holborn, between Holbron tube and Chancery Lane tube); Kimchee presents a lively atmosphere in which to share a business lunch, a group outing on a late weekend lunch, or sip some fusion cocktails over some sharing platters on a night out.
