I went with my family to celebrate my mother's birthday! The food was good, however our order for 5 mains was forgotten. We had to wait for so long that the waitress and manager of the restaurant left as they ended their shift! When I asked our waitress (before she left) what happened with our food she shrugged and said... More

I do hate noisy restaurants, that is places where you can hardly hear yourself think, let alone talk. A nice buzz from serious diners is fine but the constant uproar that emanates from some eateries is a positive nuisance. I like the Cote brasseries but some of them with low ceilings, hard surfaces and no drapes make dining for me... More

This branch of Cote always ticks all the boxes. Great welcome, and a perfect location, for the West End. I have only have one small comment, I ordered the goujons of cod, and I thought that 4 goujons was a bit on the small side. Excellent.

We saw the theatre offer deal whilst making a booking to a nearby theatre. Manager and staff were very friendly. The place was clean and spacious. It was also my bf birthday and they surprised him with a complimentary dessert. Wonderful experience and great atmosphere we will definitely visit again.

I was really interested to read a previous contributor's comments about Brown's because we were thinking of trying there as an alternative to usually going for pre theatre food at Cote. We had the 3 course set menu again last Friday and it would be really hard to beat the choice and quality, let alone at the price. This menu... More

We had a disastrous meal at Browns, left the restaurant and walked into the Cote Restaurant, St Martins Lane. The food was lovely, every one (4 of us) were extremely happy. The service and staff were amazing best we have ever had. We felt thoroughly looked after, nothing was too much trouble. The two waiters that served us were friendly,... More

We had dinner here the first night in London. The decor was bistro'ish and it was a busy place. I had a nicoise salad, which I really enjoyed (it was actually much better than a nicoise salad that I had in Paris in a touristy section) . My fiance had the steak frites which he thought was mediocre. We did... More

While being in the neighbourhood we decided to pop in to have a quick lunch. Cote is one of our favourite lunch spots [in different locations]. Food is always lovely and staff friendly. This time we chose form pre- theatre menu: • Terrine with chargrilled sourdough bread and cornichons • “Pizza” with tuna and olives – I’m sure it wasn’t... More

Our inspiration for the food and design of Cote is a modern interpretation of the many famous bistros of Paris. Inspired by new trends, we are dedicated to serving authentic classic brasserie dishes with a modern twist, using high quality produce at great prices. On the menu, guests will always find brasserie favourites on our a la carte menu such as steak frites, moules marinieres, corn-fed chicken from rural Brittany and tuna Nicoise, for dessert, Cote's creme caramel and creme brulee are much-loved house specialities.
Seasonality and Cote's commitment to sourcing high-quality ingredients results in a monthly changing specials menu, ensuring there is always something new to delight regular guests and gastronomes alike, as well as the excellent value set menu. Open early every day for breakfast, through to lunch and dinner; Cote's atmosphere is informal and friendly
