I just love this place! If you want steak and chips with a nice glass of red wine there’s nowhere better in the City. Good service as well, highly recommended.

Not much to say apart from consistently good and no thrills. Always worth a visit if you like a good steak, fries and a simple salad.

Walking in here is like stepping back in time , nice little old fashioned restaurant. Our waitress was very pleasant. Walnut salad for starters was just leaves, walnuts and dressing but was very tasty. Steak was cooked to perfection, came already sliced up for you,...More

You don't come here for a choice of food, you come here because it is simple food cooked well. Steak is cooked on the more done side of your order; rare is more like a medium when it arrives. One day I might just order...More

Ideal for a quick lunch if you are in for salad, steak, chips and an espresso. No fuss, easy service and had no time to stay for what looked like a lovely cheese plate.

As a waiter I try to give every venue the benefit of the doubt. After some shoddy service and very average food, I was left trying to defend the behaviour of staff that were supremely rude to my party, culminating with bringing the manager over...More

I enjoyed a pleasant meal with friends at your Bank restaurant yesterday evening. The steak was tasty and the ambiance appealing. The traditional desserts were particularly gratifying. However, something really spoiled my experience. I requested butter to spread on my bread, and was politely told...More
