I've read the reviews- it's not a candles/ table cloth pricy restaurant. It is a small, canteen style family run place. You get what you see and it is not a chain so if you have a problem with the food you have to go and tell someone and they will help. They will not disturb you once you've got... More

Whenever we are in London we always visit Masala. Its like visiting your family for dinner. As usual the women behind the counter is talking the orders, heating the food, and serving the customers, but doing it all with a smile on her face. Everything that we have tried has been delicious. They are no longer serving beer but you... More

We ate here on several occasions recently and were impressed and glad we went in. Its a family business basic but with a good range of Indian dishes to choose from, sit in or take away The staff were helpful and friendly. Recommended.

Had a meal yesterday. While it tasted quite delicious, I was shocked after leaving to see online that this place has a score of 1 by the council's Food Hygiene Rating. Until this improves, I will not be going back.

Walking around Earls Court looking for somewhere to eat. We found Masala, and what a great little find. Lovely atmosphere, fresh food cooked to perfection, great food, small family run business. so much better than some top restaurants we have been to.

Indian food has always been my favourite. I discovered this delightful place after looking up "Indian restaurants near me". It has all the classic Indian dishes, all uniquely tasting and full of authentic flavour. They are honest when they say it is homestyle cooking: Its a family run business, and the taste is not overwhelming or overpowering, and you can eat... More

if you like indian food, and if you are around the amazing Hogarth road - Try this restaurant. I wish they had more vegan dishes, but the food is just great

It is a very small eatery and that is what makes it special. It is almost like home you can chose what you want to have with the quantity. We had lunch one day and dinner the other day the food was warm and tasty, Reasonably priced

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
