My friend recommended this place to me as he is a frequent customer there. He said they have chef's selection menu, but when I'm there I should ask for the a la carte. I looked up online both of the menus: Omakasi (chef's selection) was for £80 or £100 per person (the later one comes with sake), whereas a la... More

I won't comment on food, I already did in the past and their fish is amazing. I used to come to Kikuchi every other week and spend at least 100£ by myself. Often more. Often with guests on top of my own bill. I came with my wife and kids 3 years ago (2 and 4 years old at that... More

The first time I came here was in 2015, a kind Japanese work associate paid for us to have dinner and it was incredible. I went there this week again with my GF and was happy to find that it's still the amazing experience I remembered it to be. They don't have a menu, and the one I found on... More

This is definitely a good place to go if you want authentic sushi. It's not exactly cheap but prices are fair for the quality of food they serve. Service is also good with very friendly staff. Not a place to go to show off obviously but if you are after proper sushi this should do the job.

When it comes to Sushi, you should always visit somewhere authentic. The chef is Japanese with traditional skills which makes this place the best choice to indulge yourself in with fresh raw fish. You've got to try the fatty tuna nigiri there!

This restaurant offers great, authentic Japanese food like sushi, tempura and sashimi, very well and traditionally prepared. The good is really delicious and the menu offers a lot of options. Good, but not that extensive, variety of sake is available. The service is good and friendly, but: its small and you have to make a reservation for sure.

Honestly, I have never been anywhere with such attentive and polite service! The waitresses /the chefs and I were literally thanking eachother back and forth for about 5 minutes as we were leaving. Full of genuine smiles although their English is limited. Place is not cheap, without drinks aim for about £150 for two, with drinks closer to £200-£250. Well... More

Drop in here if you get the chance at all. We had no reservation and dropped in, there was a little concern but we were soon found a seat. Had a great night with great food, service and drinks. Authentic Japanese food with fresh ingredients. All the sushi is prepared spectacularly and very fresh. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.... More

I wish I'd eaten "in" in this cool gem of a restaurant with delightful staff. As it was it was the best Japanese "takeaway" I've ever had (if somewhat pricey !) an absolutely exquisitely tasty meal. I'm going away to earn some money, but we will be back for sure.
