Good prices, big selection of drinks and decent food. That all mixed up in a nice ambiance. A good place to just hang out & relax.

I arrived on my 59th birthday, my daughter was already inside and had bought me a birthday drink. When I arrived the doorman asked me for ID, my drivers license was stuck inside a plastic wallet, he sent me to the, so called, security guard, who stuck his finger inside the plastic, ruining the wallet, and freed the licence. I... More

Came in here on a very busy Sunday afternoon before going to the Roundhouse. It took a little while to get a seat as it was extremely busy, but once we had got our first drink a table became available. There were 3 of us and we then decided to order food. We each ordered either a burger / drink... More

Extensive pub menu, all good value. Check out the meal deals, there are a number of menu choices where you get a free drink as well so take time to read the small print for all the options. Very reasonable wine list. Soda water is free. They do freshly brewed Lavazza filter coffee with free refills until 2pm. With the... More

The pub is a great place - clean, cosy, specious , the stuff is friendly , the food is delicious and the prices are unbelievable low for all of this. I haven`t been there for a dinner, but I love having breakfast ( English Traditional Breakfast) and lunch ( Sirloin Steak) at that place. I am happy with the taste... More

Nice place with a very good staff... tried a new pale ale and had the all day brunch. The sausage and beans were just nice as always.

Whichever branch of Wetherspoons I enter I always know what I am going to get. A lively atmosphere, nice food and cheap drinks. The staff were very friendly and great giving directions and local info. Would definitely visit again.

Wetherspoon's manage to bring out the best of the British pub, while minimising the not-so-good. This pub is no exception. The food is surprisingly good, and the range of beers offers something to suit all tastes. I recommend this pub to visitors from the UK or abroad.

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
