My daughter and I had a very enjoyable lunch at CUT. The steak was flavorful and tender and the jumbo shrimp were delicious. Topping everything off, we enjoyed the miniature baked Alaska. It was heavenly!

Came here for dinner over the Easter weekend. Had saved up to come here and it didnt disappoint. We were treated like royalty from the minute we arrived. We had some delicious amouse bouche and followed by an amazing main and a chocolate souffle to die for. A most delicious and buttery ribeye that melted in your mouth. Best steak... More

I booked this for a birthday lunch for my other half - somewhere suitably relaxed but slightly more special and with a good mix of food options. It certainly lived up to these expectations, and the food was delicious. The special touch of a deconstructed Eton Mess with a candle - which was not requested - for the birthday treat... More

I went for a business dinner . Starters of crab . Tuna and pork belly were very good. usda steak was far to sweet. No comparison to hawksmoor. Australian steak was ridiculous money. £200!!! 150 ahead without wine is just to expensive. That's fat duck money! I'll stick to Goodman or hawksmoor in future. Worth a visit for a special... More

Yes food definitely worth money, but seating and service unfortunately didn't made my expectations, place not for romantic dinner ( my opinion, but if booked request tbl by the window) , tables on the banquet is tooooo close to each other, so our romantic moment was lost and I found service a bit robotic .My beef tar tar was brilliant,... I've been fortunate to eat at some amazing restaurants all over the world but the steak I had here on Saturday night was literally out of this world and I cannot wait to go back! It's not a cheap restaurant so unless you are wealthy or it's for a special occasion I wouldn't necessary recommend it but then it would... More

Dining at CUT is far from your usual fine dining experience, it has service, charm and an ambiance that is unrivaled. I had the opportunity of dining here and it didn't disappoint, from the friendly staff, to the guy that comes up to you with all variants of steak. The food is very good (Crab and Lobster salad was delicious).... More

Fantastic food, one of the best steaks we've ever had. The mash potato side is a must try. Service was great, it's not cheap but definitely worth it!

I have eaten at many michelin star restaurants and know a good steak when i have one. I have stayed at many of the dorchester hotels. Visited the cut restaurant on valentines day. The staff were a complete mess. Leaving our coats on the side. The day specials were read to us by a waiter who couldn't speak english. Then... More

Description
In September 2011, world-renowned chef and restaurateur Wolfgang Puck made his restaurant debut in Europe opening CUT at 45 Park Lane, a modern American steak restaurant featuring great food in a contemporary and dynamic environment. Located in Dorchester Collection's Mayfair hotel, CUT at 45 Park Lane mirrors the award-winning original CUT in Beverly Hills offering outstanding steaks, a superb wine list and impeccable service. From prime dry and wet aged beef to salads, and succulent pan-roasted lobster, sauteed and roasted whole fresh fish, the menu provides wide appeal. A carefully crafted wine list complements the menu with distinct international selections. The restaurant occupies the ground floor with seating for 70 guests, while a striking central staircase leads to the first floor featuring a library and Bar 45, with bar-dining for 30.

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
