Came here for cocktails with a friend that was visiting from America. Im conscious that Americans are used to a certain standard of service so I wanted to choose the right bar. Couldn't have made a better choice! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile that continued into the evening. A particular thank you to... More

We had our office Christmas drink here last night. I don't usually review bars but this one needs a review - a bad one. We arrive when we were supposed to in our group, had to wait at the door as the bouncer had no idea we were coming despite the fact me had booked. So when we were let... More

We booked the whole place out and it was very good for an office Christmas party. The different floors make it bigger than expected and give you the opportunity to change the scenery, yet each room was small enough to make sure you don't get lost in the crowd. Music was typical and as expected - bar service wasn't slow.... More

One of thee worst places I've been to in London. Staff are rude, the food was VULGAR - could get better at Iceland, it stinks, toilets are vile and half of them don't even work.

Potentially the worst place I have been in my life. Regrettably, we hosted our 2016 Christmas party here. When we arrived, there was no Champagne reception (that we had paid for), instead they put a bucket of champagne on the table an hour after we arrived. They had given a group of 10 half of our assigned space, then would... More

Absolutely awful place. Low, sweaty ceilings, rude staff, shocking food, gave us space for 10 people when we booked for 40 for our Christmas party. The whole place smelled really bad and it took 30 minutes to get a drink. Toilets were grim, bouncers were horrible. Really really don't go.

Just had a recent work so here and it was utter rubbish. The food was straight from the frozen bargain bucket at Iceland and there is more atmosphere on the moon. If you wish to celebrate anything of any consequence do it somewhere else.

We'd booked a table. On arrival we was late, but they still accommodated us. Atmosphere took a while to get going, but was good when in full swing! It's in a great location, ok building. Tables are a bit grotty.... quite expensive and the food could be better. But if you're out for a good night and drinking, willing to... More

I cannot tell you how disappointed I was with this place that was booked for my work leaving party. I had booked a space for 35/40 and we were squeezed into a booth that just about accommdated 5 people! I had had prebooked this and food neither of which were forthcoming and when asked the staff nobody seemed to care... More

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
