I cannot tell you how disappointed I was with this place that was booked for my work leaving party. I had booked a space for 35/40 and we were squeezed into a booth that just about accommdated 5 people! I had had prebooked this and food neither of which were forthcoming and when asked the staff nobody seemed to care... More

On our arrival several staff members were present but they were clearly setting up for the evening, the manager stated that they don't normally open until 7. This is contradictory to the website. We were shown to a table on the ground floor, when I informed them that we had booked an area on the middle floor we were told... More

A double and coke, £12.3566666666. These chumps make the prices up on the spot. I bought 3 doubles for £37.07. Makes no sense. Do not visit this place, there are enough amazing bars around Liverpool Street.

Bar staff here are a complete joke.....I don't want to go into silly details as it was such a small issue but It amazes me how many pub operators miss the obvious factor for success - putting friendly & sociable people behind the bar, to create a nice atmosphere. I wouldn't waste my money at this bar,we walked out after... More

Planned my birthday celebrations at Babble City.. I called up a week prior to book and pre-pay for a table of 15 people. On arrival we were told to either wait by the door or go up and find a member of staff to take us to the table, we opted to wait. We were waiting for 20 minutes until... More

Great location just round the corner from the station. The usic is decent but the DJ is rude. And the service is quick but they tend to make the prices up.

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
