This is a small hidden gem in Kensington. Make reservations for sure. The food top to bottom is fantastic and reasonably priced.

Chakra is an unassuming place, a little off the beaten track but well worth visiting if you like Indian food. We had 4 or 5 dishes to share and each was delicious. The wait staff were efficient and friendly and the prices reasonable.

Discovered this place via Groupon as I bought a deal for two. It was a delightful surprise. FOOD This restaurant aims to provide high end food that is higher quality than your regular Indian restaurant as well as nicely presented. I was delighted with the food as I usually go for lower end Indian places. We had a mixture of... More

We really enjoyed our meal here last night We had seen the great reviews and decided to go and it lived up to our expectations. The menu is really interesting with alot of varieties. Prawns in a coconut based sauce was amazing. The service was great with the waiters all taking an interest in how we were enjoying our meal.... More

Ordered home delivery - arrived 30 mins late, food cold. Quality of food, once warmed up, utterly execrable. Korma so sweet as to be literally inedible - what on earth are they thinking of, why so much sugar? Biryani as bland as could be, where are the spices? Chicken kebab starter grisly, aloo tikki average at best. Extremely disappointing fare,... More

Took advantage of a Groupon offer of two courses and a glass of Prosecco for £29 which was great value. The waitress was excellent and gave us our drinks straight away and always made sure we had everything we needed. The food was of a good standard and enjoyable.

This restaurant might be small but it delivers big-time. We were a group of 10 people for a business supper and kicked off with mixed starters of tandoori chicken, samosas, nan breads, paneer and relishes. All excellent. I had lamb rogan josh to follow and it was delicious. Spicy but not wildly hot, lots of sauce to coat the pilau... More

Visited for the first time today. The starters were great, full of flavour, well cooked and presented. The mains although they were well presented lacked flavour and seasoning which was disappointing after such a good start.

Just off Kensington High St, this eclectic little place has an intimate feel but was extremely quiet when we visiting (Sunday afternoon)...we actually had the place to ourselves. The food isn't cheap for Indian cuisine, but the cooking is a step above the average joint. Very good rogan josh, and crispy samosas. The black cod lacked a 'wow factor' however.
