Perfect place to come for food, lovely atmosphere and staff very friendly. During the week they do a lunch time deal which includes a main and a soft drink for £6.50- you can’t go wrong. Food was good, although if I had to say just...More

A quick review.... I just popped in for a pot of tea and a pit stop to feed and change the little one. The staff could not have been more considerate and made me feel very welcome.

We ate a great Sunday lunch here as a family plus (warmly welcomed) dog. They have a really good range of imaginative dishes along with excellent value roasts and the atmosphere on a sunny Sunday afternoon was beautifully friendly and relaxed without any loss of...More

Cool London pub. Happened to have a quiz that night which was decent. Good beer, especially the cask ales but the highlight has to be the pizza. If you eat here make sure you don't order anything else!

Visited a few times. Good atmosphere. Foods good. Well decorated. But every time we come, the draught beers are flat- not just on one occasion, it's a bit of a trend if I'm honest- so get bottles.

Me, my wife & my 2 year old son needed lunch. This was a convenient place to go, & turned out to be a good decision. They had a high chair for my son & a great selection of Lagers. The lager I had was...More

We revisited on 11th April 2017 for the first time since work completed to upgrade the property and found it completely transformed, from the predominantly student hang out bar and venue it was, into a really, really nice, uber-stylish place. We were celebrating and ordered...More

We are a pub and do not have letting rooms. I think you may have us confused with another venue. There is a pub across the road called New Cross Inn and they have a hostel above.

The pub is set in the heart of New Cross equidistant from New Cross & New Cross Gate stations. Our close proximity to Goldsmiths University gives us a vibrant crowd every day of the week. Our garden and stables give us an outside space which is in our opinion the best in the area. If you do visit us be sure to check them out. We have 17 beers & ciders available on draught, 16 in bottles and a fantastic selections of seasonally changing wines, so whatever your taste we'll have something to keep you happy. Our menu is built up around burgers, hotdogs & pizza but we always keep a few healthy option on for those that are calorie counting. Try to leave space for pudding as our dessert calzones and snickers mess are (to quote one very satisfied customer) "better than sex".
