This excellent pub sadly closed earlier this year and is now under development as a residential property. A sad loss to residents and visitors to Knightsbridge.

We happened upon the area Clipper one afternoon. The pub is clean and well kept inside and out. The selection of beers on tap was wonderful as was the menu. We passed a great afternoon with friends here and look forward to returning!
I was surprise by the atmosphere in that pub, old and new are a perfect cocktail. The food, tipical british, club snadwich, pie, eggs benedict, were perfectly cooked, the beer was excellent.
We wandered in here because someone told us it's the closest location to Harrods to go get some fish and chips. The food was a few pounds more than usual probably because of the location, but overall it was decent. Nothing spectacular, but they did...More
To be fair, we only had a sharing platter to see us on until dinner, but I'm almost positive that 90% of what was on the plate was purchased from Iceland. I don't often write reviews but after spending £12 on a plate of re-heated...More

This isn't a bad place. It's just off the main drag, however, and this is perhaps the problem. Pubs can typically be judged on their clientele, the proportion of regulars, the decor, the staff and the food. In this case I think that about 90%...More
I've just seen that this olde worlds traditional pub is up for sale for £8 million !! Our pub culture in Central London is being decimated by these sales of pubs to property developers who turn them into houses/flats mostly bought by people who don't...More
Recently visited the Tea Clipper. Service fine, food fine (maybe overpriced or it's the area), fine selection of beers . There is a service charge (12.5%) when eating. Just around the corner from the hustle/bustle of Harrods. We would visit again when in the area.
Just off the main Brompton Road opposite Harrods. Wonderful beers locally brewed and superb food at REASONABLE!! prices. Traditional atmosphere public house with scrubbed tables and wooden chairs. Nothing fancy but the staff were excellent an so close to all the famous stores in London's...More
