This restaurant must not be missed when you are in the London, Piccadilly area. The Turkish coffee is the best, food is fresh varied & very tasty. Chocolate is mouth watering. Service is excellent with happy staff there to help. Sometimes it could be very busy, but have patience & you will be glad you did. Before you go taste... More

Not being a coffee drinker, I enjoyed a very rich slice of chocolate truffle cake and a cup of tea. Service was quick and friendly and I liked the cake enough to visit a second time on a subsequent visit to Piccadilly. I always have a rough idea of my bill before I go to pay and immediately queried it... More

In about 2010, I visited Istanbul. A Turkish friend, who wanted to show us how modern Turkey had become, took us to a branch of Kahve Dünyasi in the Asian section of the city, which is actually far more modern than the European side. Close to Piccadilly Circus on Piccadilly itself, there is now a branch of Kahve Dünyasi. This... More

I discovered this place by chance as I was looking for Turkish coffee in London and I was pleased with everything they offer. the coffee is great and deserts are lovely, I also liked Turkish pastries they offer, they are simply delicious.

I came here with a friend for lunch. We ordered quiche which was burnt dry and a waste of money. The resturant was quite empty so to get attention from staff was difficult I almost wrote out a placard saying we are sitting here and want service. It was an episode out of faulty towers. We asked to move seats... More

The pot of breakfast tea came with one tebag and was very weak. We asked for extra tea bag and were told they would cost 75p. When we protested we were given one tea bag at no extra cost. The service was off hand and vale for money poor. Avoid this place if you can.

Stopped here for a quick lunch. It is more than just sweets and cake - which is what it looks like from the shop front. They do a nice selection of drinks and coffee. There are a few vegetarian options. But the dessert choices are vast. Large seating area so you can get a table when the rest of the... More

I prefer Turkish restaurants while travelling in Europe, mainly because they serve Halal food, which is a plus for me. The place is truly great, you'll get the same quality of food, beverages and service you get in one of their stores in Turkey. I love their desserts and traditional Turkish beverages. Added to this is the fact that the... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
