The Delaunay is a largish restaurant that manages to feel small and personal in a nicely Continental European way. The staff, from the cheerful doorman to the waiters and waitresses, are welcoming and helpful. The food is always good - though make sure you're feeling...More

Superb food, great service and a lovely dining room. We were dining as part of a theatre package and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Our first visit but definitely not our last.

The Delaunay is a pleasant restaurant with a good ambience. The lunch menu did not have a very wide choice but we both enjoyed our meals. The staff were a bit slow to take our orders but that was the only thing we could say...More

3rd visit to The Delaunay, this time for afternoon tea again. Really lovely, super afternoon tea, a slight twist being European but not too far off the track that you lose the sense of the traditional afternoon tea. Great food and great service, can't wait...More

This restaurant is a true gem in central London. Despite its relative youth, the interior was has been beautifully decorated in a 1930s style, which gives a great first impression. The food and wine were both exquisite. There is plenty of choice on the vegetarian...More

Cab, if you don't know where you are going should cost about £5 from Covent Gareden tube, or if you are in high heels. Otherwise, it's about a 6 minute walk from Covent Gareden tube. Hope it helps.

Very much in the European Grand Café tradition, the menus range from breakfasts, brunch on Saturdays & Sundays, all-day snacks, coffees, afternoon teas, sandwiches, platters of crustacea, ice-cream coupes, patisserie and cakes, and a full à la carte, with a daily changing plat du jour and an extensive selection of schnitzels and Wieners.
