Very good curry, clean tidy restaurant. Greeted with a warm, friendly welcome and received excellent service throughout the evening. The food was quick, hot, tasty and with good flavours. Prices were reasonable, especially considering the central London location. I'd recommend this restaurant and would certainly go back.

Following an unsuccessful traipise around Pimlico trying to find somewhere to eat (one establishment closed, the second full to bursting), we decided to repair to a place we had wandered past a short while earlier. Had we realised what lay inside we might have saved ourselves sub-zero temperatures, frozen extremities and terrible beer. Still, good things come to those who... More

We went there as a family of 5 - 3 generations. The restaurant is a little small, but most are in this part of London were every square meter is used. Besides the size of the room, we really enjoyed some fine dishes. We ordered 4 main dishes which was more than enough for us five. All the dishes was... More

Nice typical Indian restaurant in UK serving non spicy curries for the English palate. We enjoyed the rice and naan which were good. The papadam were large and it provided a good medium to try their achar, mango chutney and mint sauce. Standard similar to Singapore's just less spicy. The chicken tikka and chickpeas dishes were reasonable and delicious. If... More

We stayed in London in Pimlico for several days and every time we took the bus we saw this restaurant when passing by. Only 2 minutes from our hotel. One evening we arrived back to the hotel early and decided to give it a chance. We made a good choice. The place is really nice. The staff is attentive. The... More

This is such a good Indian Restaraunt - so authentic, and good value. We walked here from the Hilton in Victoria. The place is small but the staff are very friendly. This is a must for those of you who like us enjoy Indian food that does not break the bank! Mike and Tona Lord.

We weren't in London for long, and we were both excited to try some famous U.K. curry, especially as we are somewhat spoiled with a lot of local Indian restaurants back home. We had the butter chicken and lamb tikka. The lamb tikka was over cooked and made from a tough piece of meat - it smelt to me like... More

Booked a table for 6 on Saturday night...greeted with the warmest of welcomes by the staff, who set about moving us to a more comfortable table to accommodate the size of the party. Food was delicious and the drink flowed freely (even sampling an Indian Shiraz). Complimentary liquors after dinner rounded the night off. 10/10...we will be back.

Travelled to here with a work colleague and we had no starter just a few popadoms and straight to mains. The dinner itself was really lovely, there was real taste to the Chicken Jalfrezi obviously with heat too but the taste outlasted the heat which is always nice. A couple of cold beers to wash everything down adds up to... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
