Seriously, have the big breakfast! It is really worth it. Their baked goods look delicious too but I was too full to have anything else. Their tea could be better but their coffee is lovely. Nice vibe and worth a breakfast visit.

Fabulous way to start each day in London- excellent coffee (not easy to impress coffee aficionados from Melbourne!) and perfect porridge.

We were looking for a cosy breakfast place. And Found it! We've been here 4 times in a row. Perfect place for breakfast (and coffee /lunch) From a full English breakfast to a good bowl of porridge or granola with greek yoghurt . Not to mention the fresh baked cakes every day. Note, the pace is bigger than you think,... More

I went as a resident of St Athans Hotel next door, and as such got 10% off and a voucher for a free hot drink with my breakfast. The food was great, the staff were kind and friendly, and the cafe itself is a lovely space with a good atmosphere. The only potential issue is that access is down a... More

Nice place to have breakfast or to have a break when visiting the neighborhood. Cakes are very good and juices and smoothies are made with healthy ingredients.

Deep down in the basement is a delightful coffee house. It really isn’t easy to find unless you are looking for it (seems to be the case for the best ones in London). We were lucky because we almost tripped over it (here’s a hint, look for the colourful stairs next door). It was busy with people coming and going.... More

Had the Salmon, scrambled eggs on a bagel. I was surprised by the generous portions. The coffee was also quite good.

We had breakfast both mornings of our weekend stay in London. It is a small, cosy venue, and packed both times we visited. I had the sourdough toast with jam, which came with the most amazing cherry jam - divine! I was tempted by the smashed avocado with halloumi, which another customer was enjoying as we left. Great place, nice... More

A quirky cafe serving delicious homemade cakes and good quality coffee. We did not sample any of the other food options but the menu looked intresting. A recommended alternative to the coffee chains.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
