This department within Foyles has been around for many years & as most jazz fans will know it stocks a great selection of new & second hand cds from the 1920's through to current day. Well worth a browse.

Used to be an atmospheric and buzzing venue with good fresh food, unfortunately the new cafe has less atmosphere than a chain, hard chairs, bright lights, a bit like a hospital cafe. The tea could have been hotter and the cakes were stale. Such a...More

This is where I come when I want to work - the background noise is just at the right level and you have plenty of space to spread out if you get a table. I would not recommend it to meet someone - although the...More

Just brilliant. Both food and atmosphere. A real oasis located in one of the world's best bookshops. What more could one ask for? Hopefully it can all be transferred successfully to Foyle's new shop when they move next door In June.

I visited the cafe to meet up with my sister. The staff were helpful and really friendly and made me feel at ease entering such a busy and noisey enviroment. People stay for hours on one coffee and people come in in groups and take...More

I love this cafe. Located in the Foyel's Bookstore, it has very cozy atmosphere, tasty soups, sandwiches and cakes, welcoming hosts. My laptop and I are frequent guest every time I'm in London :D

We called in here as we were looking for somewhere to have a coffee and I'm always able to waste time looking around books. This little cafe was a great surprise and I'm really glad that we found it. The lunches, cakes and coffee were...More

Ray's Jazz Cafe is without doubt my favorite cafe in the West End of London. It's not just because the coffee is strong and inexpensive and the food wholesome and creative, it's the atmosphere. I've met friends in there, had the odd business meeting, sat...More
