They don't take pre-bookings for the first floor café, so pot luck if one has to wait for a table. There was a queue of people waiting for opening on our visit. Cakes, shakes etc. were very good. A 'doggy-box' option is offered, which is useful as cake portions were huge and only one (me) out of five in the... More

I live very close to Brighton so visit the shop there regularly. For that reason, I was a little disappointed with the London branch in comparison (hence the rating, would probably be a 4 if I saw this shop first). No window displays!! Everything faced into the shop, although what was there was pretty cool. Amazing talent that these people... More

The store is enormous but very much worth the visit. You can have cake and coffee upstairs and enjoy the scenery. Cakes are somewhat expensive.

WONDERFUL! We have been twice and went in the cafe both times, it's much easier to get in on a week day though when it's quieter as you can't book! Food is delicious and great value for money! Very interesting and the decorations on the cakes are amazing!

Had a stop at the cafe upstairs and OMG the portion sizes match those if the Brighton cafe with very reasonable prices. It gets busy and you need to put your name on a list but we only had a 20 min wait at 2pm on a Sat. Very friendly staff and good service highly recommended

Came here for a friends hen do ( hired a room upstairs). One of the best ideas for a hen do I've been on. The room was decorated in a fun quirky way whilst almost garden like and the chocolate never ended. There was so much cake, sweets, teas. You name it, it was on the table. Literally had to... More

Short wait for a table upstairs, there were three of us and looking at the price for one slice of cake we opted for the "tasting platter" presuming this would be a "little" bit of everything, cake, dips etc and good value. It arrived and was a huge plate of 10 large slabs of cake and lots of white and... More

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
