... enter the cold upstairs dining room on Friday evening where every table apart from one was empty. Asked where we wanted to sit, we chose a table out of the way at the end of the long window bench. Hang on I will check... No you can't sit there it is for 3 people. Okay so we sit at... More

The food was very bland and very overpriced for what it was. No wonder it was the only restaurant we could get a seat while all other restaurants in the area were completely full (possibly due to it being December and near Oxford Street). We will avoid at all cost in future.

Good food, good selection of wines, great staff. The staff is friendly as always and their knowledge of wines is very helpful. We'll be back again for a third time :)

We visited for lunch on Saturday. The place was quiet but the set menu looked appealing so we decided to give it a try and I'm glad we did. We all had starters and a main course, all of which were very tasty and well presented. Great service too!

We arrived around 3:15 and specifically asked for a dish, as it was Sunday and sometimes that dish is not available. The waiter suggested that they had the dish. We ask to order and they told us that the kitchen is not open until 4, which wasn't mentioned originally. We ordered our drinks and waited unit 4 to order. When... More

Love the extensive wine list. Waitress was helpful & recommendations were spot on. Food was great & the service efficient. Would definitely go back.

I have visited this place many times over the past three years and unfortunately the quality of the food, and the service, are getting worse. The set menu is definitely more poor in quality and imagination. And the level of wine knowledge from the waiters pretty average.

Just popped in for a quick lunch on Friday with colleagues and my son (15) and were pleased to discover the menu of Vinoteca Soho. Wine and food were enjoyable and the whole place a good atmosphere. The only thing was for a quick lunch it wasn't that quick, but that was fine - the food was worth the wait,... More

We went to the area to try another restaurant, but saw Vinoteca and decided to give it a try. Very glad we did. Cozy/ crowded space but very quaint and intimate. The food was fantastic. I had a beef dish that was perfectly cooked and seasoned. My wife is a lamb fanatic and said the lamb here was as good... More

Vinoteca in Soho is always good fun. Not the finest cuisine in town but great atmosphere and very friendly staff. The wine list is better than the food so what's not to like!

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
