Quite a nice busy place, it has a very good no prams policy. But unfortunately is spoils the great toast on the menu with very nasty margarine.which changes the menu to a greasy spoon level

I've visited the place few times and I enjoyed the food every time. Traditional english breakfast served during whole day together with refillable tea or coffee. Great place to start a day or to enjoy a nice brunch after a long night. I would welcome more space between the tables, but it is not a big issue. When I'm in... More

Me and my partner were staying at the crowne plaza battersea and found this on our second morning. Was a really busy cafe and had a great selection for breakfast and lunch. We got 2 big breakfasts and lattes for about £20. Its also in a great location as the clapton junction underground is a minute walk from the cafe... More

Was recommended to go here by friends in the area when we were looking for a good breakfast without a huge queue. The breakfast (traditional full English) was great - super filling, well prepared, fast, fresh and very easy on the wallet. Space is tiny but they seemed to move folks quickly. Lots of options to customize your meal as... More

I visited family recently and they took me here for brunch. Very very busy. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Despite being busy service was quick and efficient. The menu is huge and has full breakfast, eggs benedict, poached eggs, spinach and avocado, to name a few as well as panini etc. They serve mugs of tea and coffee and refills... More

I went here on spec yesterday for a sandwich and tea, after a little bit of a wait I got a pot of tea and a delicious, freshly made baguette. Busy place, always a good sign, but the waitress was utterly expressionless and came across as unfriendly. Long wait on the way out to pay, the guy taking payment was... More

I've walked passed Jacks twice daily for over 6 months, and assumed it was a small takeaway spot. It's not - it's actually quite a big cafe with literally anything you could want for breakfast. The menu is huge, and they do cooked breakfasts well. The orange juice is fresh, the tea is good and with many meals unlimited. The... More

This was a place I have visited on many occasion but gone downhill lately..Squashed in on a small table, manager rude and asked me to move up..trying to get a refill of tea and coffee is difficult. Sausages not great..went to revolution and much better service today. Sorry jacks but won't be visiting any more.
