Had a lovely Sunday lunch with friends. The amazing Iberian ribs weren't on the menu and the short beef ribs were not available but the beef Sunday lunch and the pork belly rib were great. Had to wait a while whilst fresh Yorkshire puds were cooked but they were worth the wait! Apparently there is a problem with the heating... More

I live locally and have been going to this pub for years. Until new management took over this was a friendly local pub where you would go for a drink with friends and, if you couldn't be bothered to cook of an evening, you could get up a very decent burger or a good quality pizza at a reasonable price.... I'm sure this place is fine most of the time, but having driven there over 6 miles to sample dinner with a friend only to be told they don't serve food on a Monday, I don't think there'll be a second visit. I do think this is something they should share with the web.

Loved this place. Sunday lunch with my daughter. Relaxed quiet atmosphere in cozy decoration and furnishings. Like pubs should be but so seldom are these days. Friendly efficient staff. Had to wait 40 mins for my roast and my daughters burger. Unsolicited apologies were given. We had been happy chatting and getting hungrier. The burger was good the roast excellent.... More

I've just shared a plate of ribs here and they were great. The meat fell off the bone, and with the two accompanying sides there was easily enough for two slightly overweight blokes. There is a good beer selection and the service is friendly. Good atmosphere and a disco on a Friday night. Good fun.

Really lovely pub, went there for a Sunday roast. The food was excellent and plenty of it! Very generous portions. But unfortunately we had to wait hours for our 3 roasts and it wasn't even busy, also the staff wasn't very attentive at all. If it wasn't for the wait I probably would have given it a slightly better rating.

As a regular of 20+ years, now is an opportune time to comment. The new ownership, under Scott, have genuinely lifted the Greyhound in one key respect: Food. Having chatted with Scott, it quickly became apparent that he is an experienced chef. He has brought his expertise to the table for sure. I had a couple of weeks ago the... More

Food was great, well cooked and very tasty and presentable. Definitely reccommend. However one staff member who served us was very rude when asking for drinks and would simply rush out and shove our plates in front of us and not bother bringing the required cutlery over either. She seemed rude to other members of staff and customers or simply... More

First experience of the new menu. Fantastic iberico ribs. Comforting Mac'n' cheese. Perfect Sunday lunch beef. Friendly staff happy to bring fresh drinks. Played Rumicub and had a really good Sunday afternoon. Will definitely return for the food.
