Food was delicious, personal service and great intimate atmosphere. We have visited with group of friends celebrating Birthday. It was very nice touch when dessert arrived with candle.

i was So looking forward to trying this venue - as i had heard so much about it. The food is good, and the service is great, too - nothing to complain about. I didnt particularly enjoy the patatas bravas, and the crab salad was not exceptional, either - however, the chicken kebabs were lovely, as well as the ceviche... More

Great food! Place was packed but you understand why. Staff was as helpful as they could to find us a space. A bit pricey but quality is first class

Great Peruvian tapas style food in relaxed but high end setting. This restaurant is lively and great for a celebration with friends that like to share their food. Book well ahead to avoid disappointment.

Best peruvian restaurant. The corn salad and chicken skewers are a must. I don't eat seafood but I've been told that their cod risotto is a signature dish.

We really enjoyed our evening at Coya, it's still a great place with an outstanding variety of tastes to share with the rest of the table. Service is informal, friendly and with the right timing. I've had the feeling that some dishes are overpriced though - Chilean sea bass with rice costs 36£. And service at 13.5% is more than... More

This was my third visit to Coya. We were a group of seven on a Saturday evening. From the outset, the service was among the worst any of us had ever experienced in London. We waited nearly an hour before our water glasses were filled, during which time, we were offered no food. We ordered drinks, some of which failed... More

What a fantastic, exciting (if a tad overwhelming) menu. We could have ordered EVERY small dish - reigning ourselves in slightly because of the inevitable Mayfair price tag. The 'small' dishes were really quite small...but their size ensured you savoured every sweet, tangy or salty mouthful. The Saturday night ambience was buzzy, moody, attracting the stylish crowd. It was evident... More

It was the first time and it was amazing. People, music, food, wine list all were excellent. We ordered several ceviches and scallops. Both dishes were delisted. As a wine we consulted with sommelier and she has found exactly what we wanted very light crispy wine with fruit notes. For the atmosphere there was a dj who played tastings salsa... More

Yep, the food comes out at the rate of knots. Just like it did in Coya in Dubai. SLOW DOWN!! When you're paying over £600 for 4, you don't want the meal to be over in 30 minutes. We were also given a pretty lousy table - the waitress pointed out that a lot of the tables were reserved for... More

Description
Award winning Coya has been bringing the spirit of Latin America to the heart of Mayfair since November 2012. Located in a listed Georgian building Coya comprises a members' club with a terrace, a main restaurant and our Pisco Bar. Main restaurant: The downstairs restaurant features an open ceviche bar where diners can sit and enjoy a wide range of classic ceviches and tiraditos which are freshly prepared. A robata grill brings ox heart, duck breast and tiger prawns along with vegetables, poultry and seafood. For something sweet, try our sundae de maiz (sweetcorn ice cream). Pisco Bar: A vibrant bar serving the finest cocktails Latin America has to offer. Pisco Bar's team has scoured the best bars in Lima to fine-tune the famous pisco sour and create a menu of pisco-based cocktails and infusions that are second to none. One of their most popular is the chilli margarita. Pisco Bar open for Bar food all day from 12noon until 0:30 am. Members' club: Art, music and culture come together from all over Latin America, the UK and beyond, creating an experience that is both unique and exciting for Coya's global members, having the opportunity to enjoy live music and performances five nights per week, along with a dedicated art collective of events.

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
