This gem of a streetside bar has been here for many years and I make a point of visiting if I'm unfortunately in London. A long narrow bar with a great selection of real ale, it is as many reviewers note, a must. Good service too.

The Harp is easy to find 2 minute walk from Charing Cross station has a good range of real ales and is a busy little pub with friendly staff, recommend for the real ale drinker

Beautiful cosy unspoilt pub. Excellent selection of beers; always well kept. Can get very crowded. For me, this is one of the "must visit" pubs of London.

What a lively place. 3.30 in the afternoon abs is full. Great atmosphere, nice pint of fullers, free WiFi. No food, limited seating but we'll worth a visit.

When you walk in the first thing you notice is the bar simply covered in beer mats of beers it's provided. A good range is always available plus ciders covering all tastes. Decor is unspoilt - simply a traditional pub- which of course it is! Also available are simple bar snacks such as freshly made pork pies! Worth a visit.

Just off Covent Garden this is a no frills celebration of great ales. As we searched for it a total stranger interrupted our map reading and she told us to head for The Harp, it was round the next corner. The run of ale pumps and the display of beer mats could be a little over facing but we opted... More

This is a well run real ale pub. Great atmosphere lunchtime or evening. The upstairs seating area is quirky and when it's not too busy, a great place to put the world to rights over a few pints. Good location, close to Charing Cross and T. Square, in the summer months you can stand outside sipping a cold beer whilst... More

The Harp always has several boxes of proper cider and perry on the go (our favourite is whisky cask), with decent descriptions of each. Our go-to pub in the West End.

The Harp: small, friendly and an incredible selection of ales and ciders. People spill over into the street to sample The Harps wares. Very popular with the afterwork drinkers, there's an alley at the rear for the over spill and a cheeky smoke if you're inclined. New ales are added all the time and you can try before you buy....
