Popped into this restaurant as it was busy and others nearby were very quite. Very happy I did, Italian is not always at the top of my list when eating out, but this place will be. Had chicken broth, egg and parsley soup for the first time and it was delicious. Pizza next and again very good. Very high quality... More

Such a great find. An inexpensive Italian with lovely food and an easy going ambience. No wonder it was busy. It is small so may be best to book. Closed Monday.

Just today me and my husband celebrated our anniversary in Giacomo's, We've chosen this restaurant because it was quite near and had great reviews. First thing, the atmosphere in this place feels like home, staff very attentive, smiley and friendly. Second thing, decent portions and absolutely great food! As our mains, we had Pasta, bolognese and carbonara and few sides.... More

As the restaurant only has around 10-15 tables, it is advisable to book. We went here for Valentine's Day. It's like having dinner in your grandparents dining room. Food was excellent, service was quick. All they want to do is help. We have been before and we will certainly be going back.

found this by chance okay the interior is not modern so what But what it lacks in decor it certainly makes up with its food. Proper italian food "just like mama makes" at no price even the house wine was good. If you want a fancy restaurant with mediocre food and fancy prices then there are plenty BUT But if... More

This is a regular haunt and we are well known to the staff. I notice that another reviewer complains that it seems to be almost entirely filled with "regulars" like ourselves, and that does seem to be true to some extent, but what better recommendation could there be for a restaurant than that it is always full of people who... As an Italian girl... I have to admit that the dinner was gorgeous! My boyfriend and I went to Giacomo's for dinner, no expectations, but our Stracciatella was perfect (exactly the same as my grandmothers), Ravioli home made with Gorgonzola cheese absolutely amazing and I can't believe I had the best tiramisu in London.... and Zabaione... A dinner that reminded... More

They dont make restaurants like this any more - the kind of place where you feel that everything has gone into the food and service instead of into pretentious decor and fancy names for dishes. Great " family" atmosphere - and a special mention for the zabaglione that they whip up on the spot . Next time i will have... More

This was my second visit and I found the food, service and atmosphere to be consistent with my first. Giacomo's unashamedly caters to the elderly in almost every aspect a restaurant can. The decor, were it anywhere else, could be described as kitsch but I don't the think the people running Giacomo's are that self aware. The food, while perfectly... More

I've been with my girlfriend in this restaurant to have a dinner. Despite the service was good and the customer service too, we disappointed the quality of the pizza that looked like not fresh but frozen.
