I nearly gave up on finding the restaurant. It helps if a restaurant has its name displayed. I phoned the restaurant for directions, I gave precise location details, the person who answered the phone put me onto another colleague. I told this person that I...More

Our kids have coeliacs but my wife and I don't. That makes eating out hard. They usually have to put up with their choices being limited to whatever a restaurants kitchen can make them and still risk being made unwell due to cross-contamination, or watch...More

Great menu, tasty, fresh, good wine list. The only downside is that it is a noisy place and hard to hear sometime so be prepared to raise your voice. The prices are steep but the quality of the food justifies it. The staff are a...More

We went to Niche as one of our party is gluten intolerant. We were delighted by the range of dishes on offer, ordering one of each starter (all yummy); and a fair few of the mains as well. We had slowed down by the time...More

Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site
of an ancient meat market which remains in operation
today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally
renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and
some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a
focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough
time wondering through the area's maze of streets and
you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky

Niche Gluten-free Dining is an independent casual dining restaurant serving seasonally-inspired 'crowd pleasers' with a modern twist. Based in Angel, our 'niche' is a 100% gluten-free menu where everything is prepared and cooked on site from fresh ingredients. Our menu is designed with something for everyone - from a classic Eggs Benedict at brunch or one of our special hand-raised pies using traditional hot crust pastry and made from scratch in our kitchen for lunch or dinner. We hope you will appreciate the 'touch of sparkle' we put into everything on the menu! The contemporary interior is clean, bright and airy during the day and cosy and intimate at night, with floor-to-ceiling glass windows framing the hustle and bustle of London life with outside seating when the weather is being kind. Angel Tube Station is a 3-minute walk.
