I booked this as a last minute bite before going to a show. These guys offer a 2 for 1 main on Londons days out rail offer. We couldn't have steak but there was plenty of other options on the menu (I had some offers like this where they switch to the "Oh the cheapskates have arrived 3 item menu)... More

We have view the outside of The Auberge but have never, over the years, ventured in - it always looked a bit unkempt! However, on this occasion we ventured in And were pleasantly surprised. The menu was good. The Service was good and the food was good. All reasonable priced. Although we are fluent in French we didn't have to... More

Didn't know this was a French restaurant until we saw the menu out, entrance is quite confusing but manges to walk up to the restaurant, wasn't greeted with hosts or any waitresses , was standing there for a few minutes until we ask if we could sit down and was guide to the table but was seated quite close to... Very well situated and very pleasant service. Food ok for the price and a decent wine list. Very good for a decent quick bite to eat.

Tried this place for dinner on a Thursday evening with a friend, due to convenience of location to Waterloo and promising sounding menu. Was busy, but got a table straight away and handed menus, then, nothing. Service was just so slow. They just did not come back to us to take a drinks order even and we had to get... More

Dropped in on the hoping to get a table after arriving in London. The restaurant was very busy but we managed to get seated quickly. They have a good variety on the menu and our food was great and not overpriced for what we had. Will happlity call again to try other menu options.

Lovely French dinner with friends in this very lively restaurant. Great, friendly and efficient service. 2 of us had cheese omelette, 1 steak frites, 1 beef stew. Yum! Highly recommend & just by Waterloo Station, so, very handy.

Often restaurants near main line stations aren't that great, but this was excellent, the food was perfectly cooked (monkfish, easy to overcook), service good, great bustling place, quick service before going to the theatre. Recommended.

Great place to pop in for a drink and bite to eat. Also featured in the two for one deals that you get when you travel by train. This makes it really good value for money, unlike most restaurants Auberge offers this all day everyday. Great for weekends in London and located opposite Waterloo station. Highly recommend.

We had a meal in the upstairs restaurant, which was busy by 1900, as was the bar downstairs. The food was reasonably decent in terms of quality, but I thought expensive for what it was. A fair amount of choice in terms of menu and drinks, but nothing imaginative. Service was pretty good, though ordering a drink from the table... More
