Simply presented dishes of high quality. Top notch juicy thick slices of sashimi. Run by Japanese people, with lots of Japanese clientele.

I can believe the girl solve our table just keep being rude to us!! Maybe because that japanese girl doesn't have good English manner?? As we didn't order a lot because we were not really hungry, they gave us bill after the food came... how could they do that!!?? It was definitely destroyed our mood!! My friends and I had... More

Asakusa truly is a little gem: a real Japanese restaurant run by real Japanese. The restaurant is rather small. When we came by on a Friday evening the restaurant was fully booked, but we were lucky enough to find two seats at the counter. The waiter said it would take some time for our food to be ready, since it... More

Asakusa is one of the best Japanese Restaurant in London in terms of quality! VERY fresh sashimi , a great variety of dishes , nice sake etiquettes and limited but good wines! The atmosphere is not quiet basic but it reminds you on an old authentic Japanese Place. (Try to be seated upstairs or at the bar area) The restaurant... More

I've lived in Camden for 8 years and never heard about this place until today, I've walked past it many times but discounted it / never paid attention due to its location but boy was I wrong. The food is amazing, the price is reasonable and the staff are warm and welcoming. A hidden gem, will definitely be going back.

Authentic Japanese restaurant. Great fresh food, especially the sushi and great, friendly service too. Plenty of options for all (even non-fish eaters). Will definitely go back again!

No one could do better sushi than asakusa! Discovered this gem when wandering around at 10pm and decided to get some sushi! The best in town oh my! Throughout the 4 nights in London, we had 3 nights of dinners at this. Proper, authentic, good value of money! Great service too!!!

Extensive menu, well prepared sushi, good service, it was packed and people were being turned away (Thursday night). It was very good value.
