Thank you Gomes, Sabastian, and the team for the amazing service and beautiful smiles that made us feel so well looked after throughout our meal session here this afternoon. All the dishes (mussels, pork belly and fish stew) recommended by them were so fresh and well-prepared. Thank you so much! We'll certainly be back again. :)

Came here with my 7 year old daughter before an evening performance of Matilda. The restaurant couldn't be better located, about a minute's walk from the theatre. We hadn't booked a table but one was immediately available although they needed it back after an hour but that suited us (having said that, staff never rushed us). The staff were friendly... More

After a long day at work myself and a friend decided to try somewhere new for dinner, we went to belgos as they offer 25% off student discount through unidays! When we arrived we were taken downstairs to the seating area, we both couldn't believe how big the place is!! There is a nice vibe here and the staff we... More

Looks great from the outside - menu is attractive with very wide range of Belgian Beers. Restaurant is in the basement and due to this the music is loud, VERY loud. Could not hear ourselves think! Food is bland, warm and tasteless. We had mussels in garlic and white wine - no seasoning whatsoever - not even a hint of... More

Weird entrance, but amazing downstairs! Big and open, and with a view inside the kitchen. We went here for lunch and all of us ordered the fish and chips. Good size portions and very crispy fish. Fries were nice aswell. Would definately recommend a visit to this place.

Had the kimchi mussels which are really good if you are looking for a spicy twist on the mussels, best with fries. Belgo is always a good place.

I sent the following email to this restaurant on 22 March 2017. On 12 April 2017 I sent a chaser. By today, 19 April 2017, I had not received a response. This restaurant provides awful food, feeble service and dreadful aftercare. They had every chance to avoid this review but simply couldn't be bothered - this epitomises their entire business.... Went here last Wednesday night for a bite to eat with a friend. Things started off well with friendly and attentive staff and a good recommendation of hot wings for starter. Unfortunately what should have been the star of the show, the moules traditionelle were completely tasteless. The liquid the moules were cooked in just tasted of salty water. No... More

Very nice smiley welcome, one floor down and you enter the ancient cellars (shame the old lift did not work, the stairs are boring). Great atmosphere, very loud but that is expected, of course we ordered moules 'traditionnelles' which unfortunately lacked of taste ( not enough white wine in the sauce), fast service, friendly with a smile but too 'automat'... Been to this one on Earlham street so many time...love the location, buzz, the crowded interiors, the decors to the uniform of the waiters and the cooking line display .... The MUSSELS are delectable mainly the kimchi korean traditionale ones. I like the various craft beers but my regret is one particular Belgian wheat beer has been off the list for a while.... More

Description
Set in a former warehouse in Covent Garden, Belgo Centraal's staircase descends into a Beer Hall with long refectory tables waited on by staff in Trappist monk outfits and head sets. But this is no silent order; it's bustling and noisy with many customers tucking into steaming bowls of mussels in a variety of broths and platters. There are also two main dining rooms and a selection of more intimate dining booths. Seeking something substantial? The stews include Moules Blanches cooked in Bruges beer with smoked bacon, all served with frites. From the Rotisserie, choose from beer basted spit roast Belgian chicken or duck, or peruse the extensive main menu which includes the veggie-friendly Artichoke stuffed with Wild Mushrooms, Asparagus and Pine Nuts. Of course, there are over 50 Belgian beers to taste, including Fruit Beers in varieties such as cherry or banana!
