Bleeding Heart never fails, always superb. Classy and quality. The service is as exceptional as the food. Book first so not to be disappointed

We eat here several times a year and it never fails to deliver. Conveniently offering their own pub adjacent to the restaurant; an ideal meeting point prior to dining and to enjoy a pre dinner drink. Once seated at your table the atmosphere is cosy, especially at this time if year, the service is first class with very attentive staff... More

This restaurant was recommended by a friend, it is in the heart of the City of London, hidden behind buildings just off Hatton Garden. On turning into the street, there is a small, very old and wonderful court yard, where the restaurant is located at the end. The restaurant is decorated in keeping with the era of Dickensian London, the... More

I have eaten here before, probably about 8 years ago but with little recollection (probably down to the wine) it felt like a first visit. Six of us attended as a corporate customer lunch. We ate in the restaurant as opposed to the Bistro. We were seated in a nice corner spot through the end of the cellar. It has... More

The restaurant is tucked away behind the Bleeding Heart Tavern – carry on along the cobbled courtyard. The main dining room is in the cellar. The décor is classic and tasteful, interesting flower arrangement inside the lit-up glass tank in the corner. Tables are spaced out so you don’t feel like intruding on anyone. Food was gourmet quality yet generously... More

I took one of my best clients to lunch in the Restaurant, he being something of a foody who had been impressed here before. My experience was limited to good experiences in their Tavern and sister restaurant, The Don. It being my guest's birthday, we started with a glass of champagne. In a flash our starters arrived - actually too... More

Having just this minute left this restaurant I felt the need to write my review whilst it was still fresh in my mind as not only was the food of a great standard but the service received was second to none. Having an allergy to several items, eating out can often be problematic and I try to keep this to... More

I'm a vegetarian so always worried about going to a french restaurant but no need to be concerned lovely beet salad, very good squash ravioli and fabulous cheese board. Friendly unobtrusive staff and a good wine list

Went for an early breakfast, had scrambled eggs, toast and bacon. It was very nice albeit a bit slow in coming. The downside was the coffee. I don't like strong coffee and although I asked for it not strong, the cups are tiny espresso things. I asked for a bigger cup to add more water but apparently they don't have... More

Described by Square Meal as "arguably the finest French restaurant in the City", the Bleeding Heart Restaurant offers modern French food, impeccable service, an award-winning "encyclopaedic" wine list and above all a uniquely welcoming ambiance in a wonderfully historic setting. The perfect Venue for a business lunch or dinner, the warm, wood-panelled Restaurant is also an ideal setting for a romantic "diner a deux": indeed it was voted by "The Times" as the City's most romantic restaurant.
