The food was OK, the servers were not rude, but a bit cool, not the kind of services most Americans are used to. The mango sorbet and the okra/water chestnut were very good, although I find the vermicelli in the sorbet a bit too strange....More

We ate here about 15 years ago and remembered it being good. Amazing food and great service. Cocktails were good and they have a good wine selection. We weren't sure what to order so we had the waiter order a variety, mostly vegetarian; spectacular. Glad...More

Beautifully appointed Indian restaurant with nice bar outside and live piano music in the restaurant. Excellent choice of wines. The food was simply divine, with delicate flavors that were not overwhelming each other. This restaurant seems popular with elegant Indian clientèle, which is also a...More

We had a group booking of over 20 people. Post placing our order service was very poor even after repeatedly request for a coordinated service. We had to raise our voice to ensure smooth service. The place is large and nice. Food is good

We were a group of 30 people and we went for a dinner on a Saturday night. The service was just horrible and looked as if the waiters had no knowledge of Indian cuisine. The chutney with the paneer tikka came after rounds of requests....More

This is definitely one of the best Indian restaurants I've been too. The food was absolutely amazing. We loved the ambience, the live piano music and the atmosphere. Staff couldn't be better. Definitely worth a visit.

The weekend open brunch buffet from 1200 to 1530 offers a variety of five starters and seven main dishes with plenty of vegetarian and meat options, all cooked beautifully. Freshly made breads, and a table of chutneys make a great accompaniment. And of course you...More

South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming

What do you consider expensive? It's very good and it is London so it ain't cheap, as a treat if you want to experience a high quality curry in a great atmosphere it is worth it.

I don't think they state that it's halal- but call them. Personally I think they must have rated themselves as "one of the best Indian restaurants in Britain". In my experience they come nowhere near. They probably claim... More

Opening in 1982, Bombay Brasserie was in the vanguard of modern Indian cuisine, with an inventive approach that married classic regional cooking with a European brasserie-style menu. The spacious interior, with its airy conservatory and bright murals, extends to a welcoming bar and a more traditional dining room well suited to the affluent Kensington clientele.
