We came here on a Friday evening for dinner before going to the Cinema. We opted for the pre-7pm set menu. The food is average, nothing to write home about. The fish cake starter was very oily and mushy and the fish stew was acceptable....More

Freezing cold in the winter. Service is confused, they seem to be looking elsewhere other than diners. Food has got much worse in the past years, I recall it used to be edible some 5 - 10 years ago. Sad.

Portions of salmon as starters varied greatly on each plate and looked like they had been flung onto the plates. This was the same with the main course vegetables and meat. The profiteroles, four on each plate, looked like small marbles. Christmas pudding and sauce...More

Booked a festive afternoon tea here which turned out to be excellent. Nice atmosphere with generous pots of tea, plenty of filled brioche, scones and yummy deserts. Service was great too. Would highly recommend.

West India Quay is a thriving part of London in the heart of the Docklands. The Browns building was once a sugar warehouse, built in the early 19th century by Napoleonic prisoners of war. It has a truly distinctive atmosphere and a lovely external seating area overlooking the dock. The site is spread over two floors with a large front external terrace and lower ground floor bar garden. Come and enjoy our innovative take on classic dishes, or join us for one of our legendary cocktails in the heart of the Docklands.
