I visited this restaurant on 20 March for the first time. I was one of a party of 14. We started with various shared tapas dishes, eg ham, salami, prawns, anchovies, tomatoes etc. This was followed by either turbot, steak or a vegetable dish. Most of the party had the steak which was very good quality and beautifully cooked; a... More

This restaurant is quite outstanding.and is surrounded by its sister tapas restaurant and a bar serving drinks etc (Capote Y Toros). I have eaten there several times. We took advantage of the specially priced lunch menu, which was extremely good value, given the quality of the food. It was true that although the special lunch menu was on a blackboard... More

Beautiful fantastic Spanish food! I am Spanish myself and I'm extremely proud to come to this restaurant with friends and clients. Exquisite food and the service. Has quickly become one of my regular restaurants, never disappointed! The only "negative" point, to be objective, is the price, it is not cheap. But at lunch, you can eat for £17 a 2... More

I chose from the 2 course menu and my friends had the a la carte. This is not a cheap restaurant, but I would put it in the fine dining class. The service is good and food very well presented. The 2 or 3 course meal provides value for money at £18.95 and £21.95 respectively; there are 3 or 4... More

A tribute to Spanish food and an absolute success. No need of food pictures, just go and order half of the menu, you won't regret it. The exceptional food quality is perfectly matched to the kindest service I have ever experienced in a London's restaurant, friendly but absolutely prepared to assist with choosing from a rich wine list and gorgeous... We have chosen this restaurant as a good place to go for a romantic date, however I was very disappointed with the customer service. The reason for that is the pressure of many waitresses looking after your shoulders where you feel like “you are force to eat fast and go”, you cannot have conversation with each other without being interrupting... Since we met Abel and his guys in Cambio de Tercio several years ago, the experience in the restaurant during so many visits has been extraordinary. Finally a very good and design Spanish brand in London. Congrats to all the team for all this everending nice experience.

This is a nice Spanish restaurant worth visiting. We had dinner last night (12/02/17), sat at a table by the window and enjoyed a lovely mixture of cold and hot tapas. We've been here a few times and always a pleasure to visit whenever we fancy some tapas! The ham, lamb chops, patatas, prawns and everything else from the tapas... More

The food beats all the other tapas restaurants I've tried. I think the outstanding dishes are patatas bravas (really clever interpretation), octopus, 8 hour tomatoes (they don't taste like tomatoes, more like apricots!), and the aubergine and carrots dish (I forget what it was called). As for mains - best Spanish suckling pig I've tasted. All the wines were Spanish,... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
